How To Style 5 of My Favourite Spring 2018 Trends

It’s been a long and anticipated wait for Spring to arrive in Vancouver. With the warmer weather around the corner, I know you’re looking for ways to freshen up your look. To make it easy on you, I’ve outlined a hit list of five key pieces to bring you into the Spring 2018 season.

1. Pastels

My favourite Spring pastels are lavender and lilac. In this post i’m wearing a mid-calf lavender pleated skirt. The skirt is so comfy, flowy and fresh and i’ve paired it with an ivory button up blouse. A few of my other favourite pastels are pale blue and pale pink – basically any of the mini eggs shades! Expect to see a ton of pastels this season!

2. Ruffles

The ruffle detailing on the ivory blouse immediately caught my eye. I love how the ruffles add a feminine vibe to this outfit.

3. Fringe

Fringing has made a surprise comeback this season. I’ve added fringe earrings as a statement piece and even mixed two of my favourite pastel tones into this look.

4. Sequins

The sequins in this outfit are found on my pink nude sandals which make the outfit look “extra” without trying too hard.

5. Block Heels

Not only are block heels comfy, they always complete an outfit making it look effortlessly glam. They really bring the whole outfit together.
