With my work holiday party coming up this week, I thought I would share a few affordable outfits that you can wear to your upcoming holiday festivities. All pieces are under $100 and have been linked below!
First up, a wine red v-neck slip dress! This one is one of my favourites because you can dress it up or down. I layered the dress with a sheer polka dot t-shirt to keep it safe for work. Both pieces are from Dynamite. This dress is currently $34.95 CAD, and is such a great dress for the holiday season. I would say it fits true to size and I got mine in a medium. Satin is one of my favourite looks because it’s so sultry and the deep wine red is perfect for the holidays. I’ve paired it with my favourite pink nude open toe heels from Aldo with an accent sparkly heel and some glam chunky earrings also from dynamite for $16.95 CAD.
Next up, this satin skirt & sequin combo! This skirt is only $34.99 CAD and runs true to size. I got it from H&M and they no longer have the light pink one but they do have satin red. The extra sequined top is $29.99 and is a boxier chic fit. I got it in a small because it runs slightly oversized. It also comes in other colours: black and emerald green sequins.
These pieces are so great because they work so well together and separate. The mix of textures make me so happy and especially how well the shades of pink, silver and nude complement each other to create a cohesive yet glamorous look! As you can see I’ve paired the outfit again with the nude sparkly heels from Aldo and some classy silver hoops. This is definitely my favourite look of the bunch!
If you know me, you know that I love a good snake print! My third look incorporates a metallic gold butterfly sleeve dress with pearl accessories and a snake print bag. Although the dress looks super casual it actually has shine in it making it easy to glam up with the right accessories. I bought it in a medium because it is quite fitted throughout and runs long to about mid calf. The dress was a thrifty $34.99 CAD!
The purse was gifted to me by my friend from an European store called Pull & Bear. The pearl earrings and necklace are from Sportsgirl (an Australian retailer) – the jewelry set was on sale for $12!
