Accommodation Recommendation
Pension Gašpar
I highly recommend Pension Gašpar because of its ideal waterfront location to Plaža Soline on Biograd Na Moru. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beachfront. This place is great because you have a generous breakfast included with an option to order dinner on an as and when you need basis. The hosts are very accommodating to your needs and can speak English, German, Croatia, Czech, and Italian with their guests. All the rooms have air conditioning and are very clean.
The Pension Gašpar is situated in an elite part of Biograd, the part of the town called Kumenat, which is only 2 km away from the centre of the town, and is connected with a newly constructed promenade. The first sandy beach is about 150m distant from the boarding- house, and from the central and the most beautiful beach of the town of Biograd there is only 500m.
Cost per person is about 50€/night. For more information and booking with Pension Gašpar click here.
If you want to book your holiday I advise booking well in advance because their peak season starts in July and August and they do book up fast. A seven day stay here is ideal because you can fully enjoy the beach life.
Nightlife Recommendations
One of the most convenient things about staying at Pension Gašpar is that it is about a 12 minute walk to the nightlife strip in Biograd Na Moru. You simply follow the path along the beach. Along the way you’ll see restaurants, bars and clubs where there are usually concerts going on. Once you get to the nightlife strip it’s very easy to bar hop because all the places are connected. Definitely fun for young night life. Most of the bars play local Croatian music with a mix of the global top hits.
The best places to hit up are:
- Queen Bar (free entry)
- Pocco Locco (free entry)
- Awake Bar (free entry)
- Aqua Club (there is an entrance fees when there are concerts)
